The present invention provides, inter alia, methods for delivering a supplement to a non-human subject, such as a dog. The method includes contacting a source of drinking water for the subject with an effective amount of the supplement and allowing the subject to consume the supplement containing water, wherein by consuming the water, the subject ingests a recommended daily allowance (RDA) of the supplement. Animal health, in particular dog health, supplements and kits containing such supplements are also provided.
