Antacid pharmaceutical composition in powder form for the rapid and prolonged neutralization of gastric acidity with mucosal protective activity, intended to prepare by dispersion in water a pharmaceutical solution or suspension for oral use, characterized in that it comprises: - sodium alginate, - a soluble antacid agent or a combination of antacids, - a proton pump inhibitor, and - diluting and sweetening agents； wherein: a) up to 30% of the sodium alginate present in the formulation together with the total proton pump inhibitor are homogeneously distributed on the surface of the total soluble antacid agent or the combination of antacids of the composition ； and b) the rest of the sodium alginate present in the formulation contains a moisture percentage of less than 2%.Composición farmacéutica antiácida en forma de polvo para la neutralización rápida y prolongada de la acidez gástrica con actividad protectora de las mucosas, destinada a preparar por dispersión en agua una solución o suspensión farmacéutica de uso oral, caracterizada porque comprende: - alginato de sodio, - un agente antiácido soluble o una combinación de antiácidos, - un inhibidor de la bomba protónica, y - agentes diluyentes y edulcorantes； en la que: a) hasta un 30% del alginato de sodio presente en la formulación junto con el total del inhibidor de la bomba protónica se encuentran distribuidos homogéneamente sobre la superficie del total del agente antiácido soluble o de la combinación de antiácidos de la composición； y b) el resto del alginato de sodio presente en la formulación contiene un porcentaje de humedad inferior al 2%.
