The present invention relates to an improved process for the preparation of compound of formula (VII) which is useful as an intermediate for the preparation of Simeprevir or pharmaceutical acceptable salt thereof. The improved process parameters include using particular molar ratio of sodium hydroxide base and temperature conditions.La présente invention concerne un procédé amélioré de préparation du composé de formule (VII) qui est utile comme intermédiaire pour la préparation du siméprévir ou un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable correspondant.
