The wrapper (100) has a back layer (110) on which there are one or more luminescent fabric layers (120a120b) configured to irradiate the therapeutic light. An individual luminescent fabric layer (120a120b) further overlies a reflective layer (130a 130b) positioned on the back layer (110). Preferably, the wrapper (100) includes a cover fabric layer (140) on the one or more luminescent fabric layers (120a120b). The individual luminescent fabric layer (120a120b) comprises one or more yarns and one or more optical fibers (OFs) woven together to form a main body of the individual luminescent fabric layer (120a120b). The portion of the individual OF residing inside the main body has a lateral surface for allowing light rays traveling inside the individual OF to at least partially leak out therefrom through the lateral surface.
