PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera unit-equipped dental handpiece capable of sufficiently securing cleanliness and safety as an entire handpiece body after sterilization and disinfection after treatment or the like of an affected part and equipped with a camera unit capable of preventing intrusion of high-pressure steam generated when performing high-temperature steam sterilization, on the basis of a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A camera unit-equipped dental handpiece 1 according to the present invention is equipped with a camera unit 31 including an imaging transparent body 36 as an imaging window, in the vicinity of a head part 3 of a sterilization/disinfection-resistant handpiece body 2, where the camera unit 31 includes at least a lens 38, and an image pickup device 40 configured to be able to output an imaging signal to the outside of the camera unit 31.
