PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition in which decomposition of allantoin and a derivative thereof is inhibited concurrently with a reduced irritation to an oral mucosa.SOLUTION: A dentifrice composition contains a component (A): allantoin and/or a derivative thereof, a component (B): one or more kinds selected from acylamino acid, acyl taurine, and salts thereof, a component (C): glycerin, and a component (D): moisture. The content of the component (C) to the total amount of the dentifrice composition is 10-60 mass%, the content of the component (D) to the total amount of the dentifrice composition is 20-50 mass%, and the pH is 4.5-6.5.
