PURPOSE: A quantitative analysis method of a pharmaceutical formulation containing carboxymethyl cellulose alkali salts is provided to have high reproducibility and reliability and to continuously manage the quality of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. CONSTITUTION: A quantitative analysis method of carboxymethyl cellulose alkali salts of a formulation comprises the steps of: dissolving a predetermined amount of the formulation containing carboxymethyl cellulose alkali salts and preparing a carboxymethyl cellulose alkali salt-containing solution； adding cupric chloride or a cupric chloride solution to the carboxymethyl cellulose alkali salt-containing solution and forming a precipitate； isolating the precipitate； dissolving the isolated precipitate in ammonia water to prepare a test liquid； making the test liquid react with an acid-base reagent for chromogenic reaction； and measuring color development. [Reference numerals] (AA) Predetermined amount of carboxymethyl cellulose sodium standard and medicine； (BB) Adding 100 ml of water and heating at 50-60°；C for 20 minutes in a bath； (CC) Cooling while stirring； (DD) Adding 10% cupric chloride fluid until precipitation forms； (EE) Filtering the precipitate； (FF) Dissolving the precipitate by adding 10ml of 10% ammonia water； (GG) Adding water to 200 ml； (HH) Obtaining 1 ml of the solution of the previous step, adding bleached 2,7- dihydroxy naphthalene sulfuric acid fluid 20ml； (II) Heating in the bath for 30 minutes and cooling； (JJ) Measuring the absorbance of the red color turned solution (around UV 540nm)본 발명은 알긴산 및 카르복시메칠셀룰로오스 알칼리염이 포함된 복합 제제의 일정량을 용해시켜 카르복시메칠셀룰로오스 알칼리염 함유 용액을 제조하는 단계, 상기 용액에 염화제이구리 또는 염화제이구리용액을 첨가하여 침전물을 형성하는 단계, 상기 침전물을 분리하는 단계, 상기 분리된 침전물을 암모니아수로 용해하여 검액을 제조하는 단계, 상기 검액을 산-염기 지시약과반응시켜 발색시키는 단계, 및 상기 발색된 검액의 발색 정도를 측정하는 단계를 포함하는 카르복시메칠셀룰로오스 알칼리염을 함유하는 제제의 카르복시메칠셀룰로오스 알칼리염 정량분석법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 정량분석법은 높은 재현성과 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있고, 카르복시메칠셀룰로오스 소디움의 지속적인 품질관리가 가능하도록 한다.
