PURPOSE: A viscoelastic agent for an emulsion composition is provided to suppress viscosity increase or phase inversion.CONSTITUTION: A viscoelastic agent for an emulsion composition of water in silicon(W/S) contains polyoxyethylene resin. The average molecular weight of the polyoxyethylene resin is 1,000,000-8,000,000. The emulsion composition contains an oil phase part including 15-30 wt% of silicon oil and 0.5-10 wt% of surfactant and an aqueous phase part containing 0.1-5 wt% of polyoxyethylene resin and water.
