PURPOSE: A crude drug composition containing an extract of a crude drug complex including Cnidium offinale Makino, Angelica gigas Nakai, and Paeonia japonica Miyabe is provided to suppress Th2 immune response and asthma. CONSTITUTION: A crude drug composition for preventing asthma contains an extract of a crude drug complex as an active ingredient, including Cnidium offinale Makino, Angelica gigas Nakai, and Paeonia japonica Miyabe. The weight ratio of Cnidium offinale Makino, Angelica gigas Nakai, and Paeonia japonica Miyabe is 1:1:1. A method for preparing the extract comprises: a step of drying Cnidium offinale Makino roots, Angelica gigas Nakai rhizome, and Paeonia japonica Miyabe roots and mixing； a step of extracting the mixture with hot water； and a step of filtering and concentrating the extract by reduced pressure.
