PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat that permits easy customization of a lower side part thereof in accordance with the preference and/or situation of an angler, as well as a fishing rod.SOLUTION: A reel seat includes a cylindrical reel seat body attachable at a prescribed position of a rod body.
