PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel for fishing which can be remotely controlled with widely diffused portable communication terminals, such as a smartphone.SOLUTION: A reel body is provided with at least one radio communication module of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth(R). The reel body can communicate with a portable terminal provided with a radio communication module corresponding to the at least one radio communication module, and is remotely controlled on the basis of a command signal transmitted from the portable terminal during the communication.
