PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide tube for guiding an endoscope insertion part, and a method for endoscopic inspection using the guide tube, in which endoscopic observation of a part of interest can be favorably performed through deteriorated environments without letting oil, waste, sludge, dust, etc., to attach to an observation window or an illumination window provided on the endoscope insertion part.

SOLUTION: The guide tube for guiding an endoscope insertion part includes a tube member and an intrusion preventing member. The tube member includes an axial through-hole in which the endoscope insertion part is insertable, and it has such resiliency that a bending habit part can be provided at a desired part on the base end side over a tip surface. The intrusion preventing member prevents intrusion of liquid, deposited matter, or floating matter into the axial through-hole as it is inserted to the axial through-hole.
