PURPOSE: A natural antimicrobial composition is provided to have advanced antibacterial activity by having mixed extracts from Paeonia lactiflora, Atractylodes japonica and Scutellaria Baicalensis for being safer to human and environmental friendly. CONSTITUTION: A natural antimicrobial composition comprises 100 parts by weight of paeonia lactiflora, 60 parts by weight of atractylodes japonica and 40 parts by weight of scutellaria baicalensis. The natural antimicrobial composition is active to bacillus subtilis, escherichia coli, candida albicans, staphylococcus and pseudomonas aeruginosa. The concentration of the natural antimicrobial composition is from 200 to 512 ppm.
