A tilling blade provided with: a base section that is mounted on a rotating blade shaft a vertical blade section formed from a plate that extends vertically downward from the base section to the beginning of the curve of the horizontal blade section and a horizontal blade section that is formed from a curved plate which curves from the vertical blade section in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation also curving in one direction with respect to the base section and which extends from the beginning of the curve of the horizontal blade section as the boundary. In the tilling blade the beginning of the curve of the horizontal blade section is an arc with a bending radius that has a bending center as the center and the change in angle between the first angle of elevation of the horizontal blade section at the beginning of tilling and the second angle of elevation at the usage limit is set to be within five degrees. Provided thereby is a tilling blade with which the change in the angle of elevation of the blade edge until reaching the usage limit is restricted and which exhibits tilling performance with excellent ability to turn over plow in and break up clods.
