PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional evaluation methods for cosmetics or cosmetic materials in which: a lot of effort and a large device are needed, and it is difficult to observe changes on a real-time basis and provide presentations with video footage that has persuasive effects in the case of evaluating the physicochemical properties including the durability and the stability of a cosmetic or a cosmetic material.SOLUTION: The problem of the conventional evaluation methods for cosmetics or cosmetic materials is solved using a method for evaluating a cosmetic or a cosmetic material with which the durability, the stability and the absorption behavior against hairs of a cosmetic or a cosmetic material are evaluated by observing the behavior of the cosmetic or the cosmetic material after bringing a piece of skin, hairs or a substrate with the cosmetic or the cosmetic material applied on it into contact with water or oil that has been colored with a coloring agent dissolved in it with an optical microscope, explanatory materials prepared using the evaluation method, and the cosmetic material or the cosmetic.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】化粧料や化粧料原料の持続性、安定性などの物理化学的特性を評価しようとする場合、手間がかかる、大型の装置が必要となる、変化をリアルタイムに観察しにくい、説得力のある映像での提示がしにくいなどの問題があった。【解決手段】化粧料または化粧料用原料を塗工した皮膚、毛、または基板に、光学顕微鏡下で色素を溶解させて着色した水または油を接触させ、化粧料または化粧料用原料の挙動を観察することで、化粧料または化粧料用原料の持続性、安定性、毛に対する吸着挙動を評価することを特徴とする化粧料または化粧料用原料の評価方法、およびそれを用いて作製された説明用資料、化粧料用原料、化粧料にて解決する。【選択図】図2
