PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cross-sectional conversion images in respective directions with high image quality from image information obtained by a non-spiral cone beam CT.SOLUTION: The radiation image processing apparatus for processing non-spiral projection data obtained by performing radiography while rotating a radiation generator and a two-dimensional radiation detector relatively to a subject reconstitutes first volume data to which averaging processing is executed in the rotary axis direction of rotation and second volume data to which the averaging processing is not executed from the non-spiral projection data. Then, a cross-sectional image on a first surface vertical to the rotary axis direction is generated by cross-sectional conversion calculation using the first volume data, a cross-sectional image on a second surface parallel to the rotary axis direction is generated by the cross-sectional conversion calculation using the second volume data, and the obtained cross-sectional images are displayed at a display device.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】ノンスパイラルのコーンビームCTによって得られる画像情報から、各方向の断面変換像を高画質で提供可能とする。【解決手段】放射線発生器と2次元放射線検出器を被検体に対して相対的に回転させながら放射線撮影を行って得られたノンスパイラル投影データを処理する放射線画像処理装置は、ノンスパイラル投影データから、回転の回転軸方向に平均化処理が施された第1のボリュームデータと、平均化処理が施されていない第2のボリュームデータとを再構成する。そして、回転軸方向に垂直な第1の面における断面画像を前記第1のボリュームデータを用いた断面変換計算により生成し、回転軸方向に平行な第2の面における断面画像を第2のボリュームデータを用いた断面変換計算により生成し、得られた断面画像を表示装置に表示する。【選択図】 図1
