The present invention relates to a block for greening a vertical concrete retaining wall and a structure using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a block for greening a wall and a wall greening structure using the same, the block comprises an outer forming part for forming an appearance and receiving a plant-growing part therein and the plant-growing part located within the outer forming part for supplying nutrients required to grow plants in the block, the outer forming part comprises an irrigation hole formed through an upper surface and a lower surface and a chamfer portion chamfered at edges that sides meet. According to the present invention, a sufficient amount of water can be supplied to roots of plants in the plant-growing part； the plants can be effectively prevented from leaving the block by gravity and rainwater during initial planting where the roots are securely fixed to the plant-growing part； installation costs can be reduced for an easy structure and method for installation； and the block can be continuously used without deformation.본 발명은 콘크리트 수직 옹벽 등을 녹화하기 위한 블록 및 이를 이용하는 구조물에 대한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 외형을 형성하며 내부에 식생부를 수용하는 외형부와 상기 외형부의 내부에 위치하여 상기 블록에서 생육하는 식물의 생장에 필요한 영양분을 제공하는 식생부를 포함하며, 상기 외형부는 상측면 및 하측면에 관통형성되는 관수공과 측면이 만나는 모서리 부분이 면취되어 형성되는 챔퍼부를 포함하여, 식생부에 위치하는 식물의 뿌리에 충분할 물을 공급할 수 있고, 식물의 뿌리가 견고하게 식생부에 고정되지 못한 식재 초기에도 중력 및 빗물 등에 의해 식물이 상기 블록에서 이탈하는 것을 효과적으로 방지할 수 있고, 설치 구조 및 방법이 용이하여 설치비용을 절감할 수 있고, 계속적 사용에도 변형이 쉽게 일어나지 않는 벽면 녹화용 블록 및 이를 이용하는 벽면 녹화 구조물에 대한 것이다.
