PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like article press tool which can surely press and fix a sheet-like article such as an agricultural mulch sheet to the ground and can easily release the pressed state.SOLUTION: A sheet-like article press tool includes a press plate 5 for pressing a sheet-like article 3 to the ground 2, and a press pin member 6 for pressing the press plate 5 to the ground 2, which are separately formed. The press plate 5 has pin insertion hole portions 10, 10 at two places with a prescribed space. In the press pin member 6, the upper portions of two pin bodies 11, 11 inserted into both the pin insertion hole portions 10, 10 and pushed into the ground 2 are connected to each other through a linking piece 19 having a grip portion 20.
