PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of knowing a state of a biological tissue after constitutional change of a subject and a method for controlling the image processing system.SOLUTION: The image processing system includes an information acquisition part 110 for acquiring at least one information between target information about constitutional change of the subject and guideline information of activities of the subject, and a processing part 130 for performing image processing of a biological tomographic image reflecting biological tissues of the subject. Then, the processing part 130 specifies an image processing parameter on the basis of at least one information between the target information and the guideline information, performs image processing of the biological tomographic image on the basis of the specified image processing parameter, and generates a prediction biological tomographic image reflecting the biological tissues after the constitutional change.【課題】 被検体の体質変化後の生体組織の様子を知ることができる画像処理システム及び画像処理システムの制御方法の提供。【解決手段】 画像処理システムは、被検体の体質変化についての目標情報及び被検体の活動の指針情報の少なくとも一方の情報を取得する情報取得部110と、被検体の生体組織が映る生体断層画像に対して、画像処理を行う処理部130と、を含む。そして、処理部130は、目標情報及び指針情報の少なくとも一方の情報に基づいて、画像処理パラメーターを特定し、特定した画像処理パラメーターに基づいて、生体断層画像に対して画像処理を行って、体質変化後の生体組織が映る予測生体断層画像を生成する。【選択図】 図1
