A bone anchor (10) for use in an orthopaedic procedure comprises a bone fixation portion (12) provided with a plurality of fixation openings (14), the fixation openings (14) each being adapted to receive a fixation device for fixing the bone fixation portion (12) to a bone of a patient, and a device attachment portion (20) provided with a first attachment opening (26) and a second attachment opening (28), the first attachment opening (26) and the second attachment opening (28) being connected to each other by a solid stabilizing portion (36) and being adapted to receive an attachment device for attaching the device attachment portion (20) to an orthopaedic device (24).
