The invention relates to an ergonomics system (1) for an adjustable bed system (2), said ergonomics system (1) comprising a data-processing device (3) and an image-display device (4) connected to the data-processing device (3), said image-display device being arranged in such a way and designed such that image data displaying a representation of a user of the bed system (2) is transferred to the data-processing device (3), wherein the data-processing device (3) is connected to a ergonomics database (6) and is designed to evaluate the image data, in order to determine position data and posture data of the user. The data-processing device (3) is also designed to compare the determined position data and posture data with reference data in the ergonomics database (6), in order to determine, depending on the comparison, a measurement for an ergonomic correctness of a corresponding position and posture of the user. The data-processing device (3) is further designed to adapt a setting of the bed system (2) depending on the determined measurement.
