PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a user is difficult to recognize an extraneous sound by normal hearing with ear plugs remain attached when getting out from water because the ear plugs totally close ear holes for preventing the water from entering into the ear holes in the water.SOLUTION: A through-hole 2 is formed parallel to the length direction of the ear plug 1. Further, a surface of the hole contacting the water when attached is covered with a cover of a fine mesh having water repellent effect to be fixed on the ear plug, so that the inflow of water to the through-hole is prevented when in the water due to the water repellent effect of the cover surface, while, when getting out of the water, the extraneous sound can be recognized by normal hearing through the through-hole.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】水中で水が耳穴に入らないようにする耳栓は耳穴を完全に塞いでしまうため、水中から出て、耳栓を装着したままでは、外部の音を通常の聴覚で認識するのが難しい。
