PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article which can be softly fit on the private parts, does not impair fitting feeling, is excellent in restoration performance even when the absorptive article receives large body pressure, and has a structure having a thick midportion for maintaining fitting performance with respect to the private parts.SOLUTION: A thick midportion 6 is constituted in such a manner that: a sheet material 10 is multi-folded into a bellows form by alternately repeating mountain folding and valley folding of the sheet material 10 distal end parts are joined to each other at folding parts 8 to be a proximal end side in an attaching state sections from the folding parts 8 to be the proximal end side to middle points toward the folding parts 9 to be the distal end side are joined to each other in parts where surfaces from the folding parts 8 to be the proximal side toward the folding parts 9 to be the distal end side are opposite to each other and ranges 18 from the joining point 17 of the folding parts 8 to be the proximal end side to middle points of both side surfaces are joined to a surface sheet 3, so that the thick midportion 6, when developed, has a cross section in which a plurality of hollow cells 6A-6C are continuously radially joined to each other centering on the joining point 17 of the folding parts 8 to be the proximal end side.
