PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article excellent in leakage prevention performance especially in that of wing portions, touch, operability and feeling in wearing.SOLUTION: The wing portions 6 are formed by fixing wing forming materials 62 different from a surface sheet 2 and a back sheet 3 on a center A of a body portion 5. The wing forming materials are such that one side edge 63 positioned on the body portion is fixed between both the sheets and the other side edge 64 is fixed so as to extend outward from each of the side edges from both the sheets.
