One example aspect of the present disclosure relates to a method for assessingahealth of a passenger of an aerial vehicle. The method can include receivingat least onesignal indicative of a state of the passenger from one or more sensors of achair in the aerialvehicle. The method can include determining a health state of the passengerbased on theat least one received signal. The method can include determining if the aerialvehicle shouldland based on the determined health state of the passenger. When adetermination is madethat the aerial vehicle should land based on the determined health state ofthe passenger,the method can include identifying a nearest airport. When a determination ismade thatthe aerial vehicle should land based on the determined health state of thepassenger, themethod can include transmitting a request to land to the identified airport.
