PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that there are some diabetics who feel embarrassed because there is no blood testing apparatus operable with one hand in a pocket or the like without being seen by others even when going out or the like.SOLUTION: The blood testing apparatus comprises: a case body 22 a display part 23 provided on the case body 22 a sensor 33 mounted on one end of the case body 22 a laser emitting apparatus 26 provided inside the case body 22 for puncturing the skin 13 through the sensor 33 and an electric circuit part 27 connected to the sensor 33 and the display part 23. The case body 22 is turned to an almost elliptic shape for which focus distances from the surface of an upper surface 22a, a front surface 22b and a side face 22c are respectively different, the display part 23 and the sensor 33 are arranged on the side of the upper surface 22a, and it is to be held by the palm to make an operation with one hand possible.
