PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for external application in which the dispersion stability of a non-water-swellable powder is improved while containing the powder.SOLUTION: There is provided a composition for external application which comprises a sodium polyethylenesulfonate and a non-water-swellable powder and exhibits fluidity at 25°C. There is provided a composition for external application in which the content of the sodium polyethylenesulfonate preferably is 0.1 to 3 wt.%. There is provided a composition for external application which further preferably comprises iron oxide.EFFECT: The dispersion stability of a non-water-swellable powder is improved while exhibiting fluidity.
