The syringe (1) comprises a housing shell (10), a needle cover (20) and an elastic protecting member (30), the needle cover (20) is detachably connected to a front end of the housing shell (10), and the elastic protecting member (30) is mounted inside the housing shell (10) and extends into the needle cover (20). When the barrel assembly (40) is mounted in the syringe (1), a soft stopper (44) sleeved on a needle (43) at a front end of a barrel (41) extends into the needle cover (20), so that the needle cover (20), a sheath body (31) at a front end of the elastic protecting member (30), and the soft stopper (44) together provide safety protection against the needle (43).
