The invention relates to a method for cosmetic treatment of the hair, in particular for care and/or cleaning, including: a step (i) of applying to said hair a cosmetic composition, referred to as the first cosmetic composition, including one or more cationic surfactants, one or more silicones and one or more non-siliconized fatty substances； and then a step (ii) of applying to said hair a cosmetic composition, referred to as the second cosmetic composition, including one or more cationic surfactants, one or more cationic polymers having a cationic charge density no lower than 4 meq/g, and one or more organosilanes.
