The present utility model discloses a crab cage used for culturing and fattening of mud crabs. The crab cage comprises a cage member being defined by a plurality of individual compartments integrally arranged in rows and columns, a peripheral flange enclosing the upper edges of said cage member, a plurality of cover members in association with each of said individual compartments, rope hinges pivotally attaching said cover members to said flange, and locking means forming a locking knot adapted to lock said cover member in closed position through lock holes provided on the cover member opposite said rope hinges, each of said cover members being provided with a feeding hole at the middle portion thereof.
