According to this invention a fruit hard shell opening machine is disclosed. The machine comprises feeding means supported on a main frame to feed hard shell fruits to a hard shell opening means mounted on the main frame. Hard shell fruit holding means are provided at top of the main fame such that to hold hard shell fruit during hard shall opening operation by the hard shell opening means. Timing means is provided with the hard shell opening means to operate the fruit holding means during opening of the hard shell. A prime mover mounted on the main frame being provided to drive hard shell fruit feeding means, fruit holding means, hard shell opening means, and the timing means in a synchronized manner.
