The present invention comprises a device to be carried by a cow which collects the manure and the urine from the cow in compartments separated from each other. The device comprises measures that enable automated emptying of these compartments. The device according to the invention achieves, inter alia, an improvement of the living conditions of the cow and a reduction of the negative effects the livestock has on the environment.De onderhavige uitvinding omvat een door een koe te dragen inrichting welke de mest en de urine van de koe opvangt in van elkaar gescheiden compartimenten. De inrichting omvat maatregelen die geautomatiseerde lediging van deze compartimenten mogelijk maken. De inrichting volgens de uitvinding bewerkstelligt onder meer een verbetering van de leefomstandigheden van de koe en een reductie van de negatieve effecten die de veestapel heeft op het milieu.
