The present invention relates to a method in vivo using a pulsed laser with a wavelength in the range of e.g. 680 nm to 700nm and photon detectors which are detecting the re-emitted photons or acoustic sensors which detect the photoacoustic signal generated within the tissue. Using a pulsed laser with the wavelength 680 nm to 700nm leads to the excitation of endogenous occurring chromophores in the tissue.Linvention concerne un procédé in vivo mettant en oeuvre un laser pulsé doté dune longueur donde située sur une plage comprise, par exemple, entre 680 nm et 700 nm, et des détecteurs de photons destinés à détecter les photons réémis ou des capteurs acoustiques destinés à détecter le signal photoacoustique généré à lintérieur du tissu.
