PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aid with which an elderly or a physically impaired person is able to stand up single-handedly from a chair, is released from a care worker, and is also able to obtain an exercise effect.SOLUTION: In the aid, a seat in which an arm can be inserted is placed on a chair, with the arm inserted when a sitting person stands up. When a handle bar is pushed forward by a light self force of the hand by the principle of leverage, the seat is slouchingly pushed up, providing an aid for an elderly or a physically impaired person to stand up from the chair. The handle bar is selectable in the angle, and the insertion bolster can be installed more than one.
