PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening structure enabling greening of a rising construction such as a wall, enabling plants to thickly grow not only on a wall surface but also to the upper part of the wall, and improving in structural stability.
SOLUTION: The greening structure greens a rising structure 3 such as a wall, a fence or a bank, is disposed along the top part 4 of the rising structure 3, and includes: a vegetation base part 2 filled with vegetation soil for vegetating plants a columnar support member 6 standing on the ground to support the vegetation base part 2 from below and a regulation member for integrating the rising structure 3 and the vegetation base part 2 for regulating the movement of the vegetation base part 2 toward the thickness direction of the rising structure 3. The vegetation base part 2 is charged with vegetation soil, fertilizer, seeds, nursery stocks and the like so as to vegetate and plant trees, ground-cover plants and/or vine plants. Hanging-down plants go along a mat 19 or a net-like material 20 hung down at the opposite side of the vegetation base part 2.
