PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of an MRI apparatus capable of accurately detecting a position of the diaphragm even when including influence by overlap of an excitation area of navigator echo and excitation such as pre-pulse and slice.SOLUTION: The MRI apparatus executes a blank shot for 1TR (Time of Repetition) or more before a practical measurement, sets respective navigator echoes executed within the 1TR of the practical measurement as reference echoes, and correlates signal intensity profiles 37 and 39 with signal intensity profiles of the respective comparison navigator echoes executed in the practical measurement after having set the reference echoes. The MRI apparatus causes excitation positions including the pre-pulse and slice to follow on the basis of displacement of the position of the diaphragm calculated by the correlation result. The navigator echo method can be thus applied to an imaging site close to the diaphragm and provide an image with respiratory motion artifact suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】ナビゲータエコーの励起領域とプリパルスやスライスなどの励起の重なりによる影響がある場合においても横隔膜位置の正確な検出を可能とするMRI装置の差動方法を提供する。【解決手段】MRI装置であって、本計測の前に、1TR分以上の空打ちを実施した後、本計測の1TR内において実施された各ナビゲータエコーを参照エコーに設定し、その信号強度プロファイル37、39と、参照エコー設定後の本計測において実施された比較用の各ナビゲータエコーの信号強度プロファイルとの相関をとる。この相関結果より求められた横隔膜位置の変位量に基づき、プリパルスおよびスライスなどの励起位置を追従させる。これにより、横隔膜と近接した撮像部位においてナビゲータエコー法の適用を可能とし、呼吸動アーチファクトの抑制された画像の取得を可能とする。【選択図】図6
