PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply detecting equipment of high quality which detects the amount of liquid supply accurately and can be manufactured by simple constitution at a low cost, and provide a liquid supply detecting method and equipment using the method which can detect precisely the situation of a liquid supply part by using a simple means.SOLUTION: The liquid supply detecting equipment is provided with a small diameter type drip-feed hole 70 for dripping liquid in a drip type which liquid is supplied from the upper side of liquid supply direction to liquid supply path 60, and a pair of electrodes 71, 72 wherein an electrically continuous interval K of dripping liquid for making a current flow via the dripping liquid is formed on the lower side of the hole 70, and performs electrical detection by making the dripping liquid formed by the hole 70 pass the electrodes 71, 72. The liquid supply detecting method extracts the liquid supplied to the liquid supply part 3 from a liquid collecting hole 34, and detects electrically the amount of liquid by using the liquid supply detecting equipment 7. The using equipment of the liquid supply detecting equipment 7 is installed in an implantation bed 30 accommodating a culture medium W for a plant plantation.COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO【課題】 給液量を的確に検知すると共に、簡潔で廉価な構成を以て製作することができる高性能な給液検知装置を提供すると共に、被給液部の状況を簡単な手段で精度よく検知することができる給液検知方法とその利用装置を提供する。【解決手段】 給液路60に給液方向上手側から供給される液体を、点滴状に滴下させる小径状の滴下孔70を設けると共に、該滴下孔70の下手側に滴下液を介して通電せしめる滴下液導通間隔Kを形成した一対の電極71,72を設け、上記滴下孔70で形成した滴下液を電極71,72を通過させることによって、電気的に検知する給液検知装置にしている。また、被給液部3に供給した液体を採液孔34から採液し、給液検知装置7によって液体の量を電気的に検知する給液検知方法にしていると共に、植物栽培用の培地Wを収容する栽培ベッド30に、給液検知装置7を用いた給液検知装置の利用装置にしている。
