UTILISATION DE PARTICULES RENFERMANT DU SILICONE POUR LA PROTECTION CONTRE LE RAYONNEMENT UV, TRAITEMENT DE PRODUCTION ASSOCIE ET FORMULATIONS EN RENFERMANT
The invention relates to the use of silicon-containing particles forprotection of human cells fromelectromagnetic radiation in the UV range and optionally in the visible as faras the IR range, wherethe particles preferably take the form of clusters of primary particles havinga particle size in therange from 5 to 100 nm. A particular advantage of the use according to theinvention is thepossibility of matching the absorption of the electromagnetic radiation to thewavelength region tobe absorbed in a defined manner via the particle size. The silicon-containingparticles can be usedas biocompatible and biodegradable UV protection in cosmetic or medicalformulations, such aspreferably a sunscreen, or else in a cosmetic formulation for the UVprotection of hair.
