The system makes use of a peristaltic pump, controlled by a motherboard that is programmed to respond to the flow of water into a stock water supply as detected by a flow meter. The system connects directly to the storage drum/bottle/tank that contains the undiluted additive. The pump injects additive directly into the water as it flows into the stock water supply. The motherboard is controlled via an application on smartphone or tablet so that dosing rates can be adapted, water flow rates can be monitored and volume of additive dispensed over time can be tracked.
