PURPOSE: An earthenware steamer having a heat insulation double wall, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a condensation phenomenon when steaming rice cake. CONSTITUTION: An earthenware steamer comprises the following: a square pipe frame body(10) forming a steam chamber by molding a square pipe(11) into a square ring shape； a packaging installation panel(20) installed on the lower side of the square pipe frame body； an airtight maintaining packing(30) fitted to the packaging installation panel； a packing contact bar closely attached to the airtight maintaining packing； a packaging installation groove for fitting the airtight maintaining packing, formed on the packaging installation panel； an inside packing channel(22) including a separation preventing protrusions； an outer packing channel(24) located on the lower outside of the square pipe frame body； a wing unit located in between the inside and outside packing channels； protrusions projected from the center of the wings to the lower direction； and a vacuum inlet and a vacuum inlet opening and closing unit.본 발명은 떡시루의 몸체를 단열 이중벽으로 구성하여 증기 찜시 내부의 결로 현상을 방지하고, 델 염려가 없어 다루기가 안전하며, 수증기의 기밀 구조를 개선하여 기밀성이 향상되고 제작 부품이 줄어들어 경량화가 가능하도록 한 단열 이중벽을 갖는 떡시루 및 이의 제작 방법을 제공하기 위한 것으로, 본 발명의 단열 이중벽을 갖는 떡시루의 적절한 실시 형태에 따르면, 길이재의 사각 파이프를 사각 링 형태가 되도록 구성하여 내부에 상하로 개구되어 있는 증기찜실을 형성하는 사각파이프 틀체와； 상기 사각파이프 틀체의 내부 하부측에 타공판을 지지하기 위해 설치된 타공판 받침수단과； 상기 사각 파이프 틀체의 저면을 따라 설치된 패킹 설치용 채널； 및 상기 패킹 설치용 채널에 끼움되어져 증기 기밀을 유지하는 기밀유지용 패킹이 포함된 것을 특징으로 한다.
