PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menthol-containing formed preparation preventing the deposition of the menthol onto the surface of the preparation and excellent in appearance and use feeling as a product, and also the menthol-containing formed preparation, maintaining the form at the time immediately after its production without being affected by the temperature of the environment around it even in a warehouse during summer time, that is, is excellent in form-keeping property.
SOLUTION: This lipid composition is produced by a process comprising a step of preparing a eutectic mixture by heating a composition consisting of (50:50) to (90:10) (mass ratio) of [a component (A), the menthol]: [a component (B), a sterol], and a step of leaving the eutectic mixture to stand at a temperature by &ge40°C and lower than the melting point of the eutectic mixture.
