A method of providing data to a user of an ultrasound apparatus, the method including: transmitting identification information input by the user to an external server； receiving data including use environment information of the ultrasound apparatus, which corresponds to the identification information, from the external server； and changing use environment of the ultrasound apparatus according to the received use environment information.
