PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax shock due to vibration during moving and also to prolong the service life, in a wheelchair used by a physically impaired person, an elderly person, etc..SOLUTION: In a wheelchair 1, a pair of right and left driving wheels 3 are freely rotatably installed in a wheelchair body 2. A first shock absorber 6 is provided each between the wheelchair body 2 and each driving wheel 3, the shock absorber which relaxes shock transmitted from each driving wheel 3 to the wheelchair body 2, by vertically moving each driving wheel 3 relative to the wheelchair body 2. During moving by the wheelchair 1, the shock transmitted from the pair of right and left driving wheels 3 to the wheelchair body 2 can be relaxed by the two first shock absorbers 6, so that the ride on the wheelchair can be improved. Also, as the first shock absorber 6 is installed each between the wheelchair body 2 and each driving wheel 3, wear of the entire wheelchair body 2 can be reduced, making the extention of the service life possible for the wheelchair 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】身体障害者や高齢者などが使用する車いすにおいて、移動中の振動による衝撃を緩和するとともに、寿命を延ばす。【解決手段】この車いす1は、車いす本体2に左右一対の駆動輪3が回転自在に取り付けられている。車いす本体2と各駆動輪3との間にそれぞれ、車いす本体2に対して各駆動輪3を上下動させることにより、各駆動輪3から車いす本体2に伝わる衝撃を緩和する第1緩衝装置6が設けられている。車いす1の移動中に、2つの第1緩衝装置6により、左右一対の駆動輪3から車いす本体2に伝わる衝撃を緩和することができるため、車いすの乗り心地を改善することが可能となる。しかも、この第1緩衝装置6は、車いす本体2と各駆動輪3との間にそれぞれ設けられているので、車いす本体2全体の疲労を軽減することができ、車いす1の寿命を延ばすことが可能となる。【選択図】図1
