PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning-type fundus imaging apparatus capable of constructing a high-resolution frame image without regard to environmental variation.SOLUTION: A scanning-type fundus imaging apparatus of the present invention includes: optical systems (1, 2, 3) that scan a fundus oculi Ef, receive reflected light from the fundus oculi Ef, and output signals and an image construction unit 4 that constructs an image using the signals from the optical systems. On an optical path of one of the optical systems, a mask 41 is provided at a position conjugate to the fundus oculi Ef, the mask being used for aligning a pickup end position for a signal obtained by the optical system with a pickup start position for a signal obtained in a next scan by the optical system. The image construction unit 4 adjusts the timing at which to start picking up of the signal obtained by the optical system using the image of the mask 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
