PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating platinum-resistant cancer selected from the group consisting of ovarian cancer, primary peritoneal carcinoma and fallopian tube carcinoma.SOLUTION: A method comprises administering a HER2 antibody that effectively inhibits HER dimerization, and an antimetabolite chemotherapeutic agent such as gemcitabine, each in amounts effective to treat the cancer.
