PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a compact capable of molding granular salt in a short duration； and to provide a compact.SOLUTION: In a compact 10, dried egg white is agitated together with granular salt containing a bittern component to form salt for molding, and the salt for molding is filled into a molding die, and the molding die filled with the salt for molding is heated to solidify the dried egg white, to thereby mold the salt for molding. Since the dried egg white is put into a solid state by the bittern component working as a coagulant, each salt can be bound in a short time, to be thereby able to mold a compact having a various shape in a short time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9【課題】短期間で粒状の塩を成形できる成形体の製造方法および成形体を提供する。【解決手段】成形体１０は、にがり成分を含む粒状の塩に乾燥卵白を撹拌して成形用塩とし、この成形用塩を成形用型に充填し、成形用塩が充填された成形用型を加熱して乾燥卵白を固化させ、成形用塩を成形する。にがり成分が凝固材となって乾燥卵白が固化状態となるため、塩同士を短時間で結着させることができるので、短時間に様々な形状の成形体を成形することができる。【選択図】図９
