The invention is directed to a method to discharge a fluid from a container, wherein the container comprises a reservoir for the fluid and an outlet opening for the fluid which outlet opening is fluidly connected to the reservoir by means of a conduit, wherein the fluid is increased in temperature as it is discharged from said container by direct heat exchange between the fluid and the internal wall of the conduit and wherein the wall of the conduit is increased in temperature by means of friction between the exterior wall of the conduit and a friction member which is moved relative to the exterior wall of the conduit.
