The present invention provides a composition for enhancing non-biological stress tolerance including a nucleotide sequence encoding CaDSR6 (Capsicum annum drought stress responsive 6) protein of a plant. The nucleotide sequence of the present invention is related to non-biological stress tolerance including drying of a plant and salt stress.
