PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique capable of simultaneously conducting enhancing the disease injury resistance and environmental stress resistance of a plant and promoting the plants growth.
SOLUTION: By suppressing the function of SIB A gene in a plant, it has been found that the disease injury resistance and environmental stress resistance of the plant can be enhanced and the growth of the plant can be promoted as well, significantly as compared to the cases with wild-type plants.
