A sprayable cooling composition comprising at least one refrigerant (DME) as well as at least one non-volatile antiseptic agent (cetrimide), wherein the cooling composition is capable of eliciting both a local refrigerant effect to a body surface area to which it is applied and providing antisepsis due to the non- volatile antiseptic agent remaining on the body surface area.
